Saint Emilion

Saint-Emilion is a municipality in the south-west of France, located in the Gironde in the region of New Aquitaine.

The city has an important monumental finery (hermitage, monolithic church, collegiate church, palace of archbishops, wealthy buildings and remains of fortifications) which is declined along tortuous lanes (called “mounds”) and shaded squares, and enjoys the renowned for its oenological heritage (Saint-Émilion vineyard) and gastronomic (macaroons, pâtés, foie gras).
